Please can you explain to me what is wrong with Stella? I've only recently picked up on Eastenders again, don't know any characters (hardly).

Have just bought that version of 'Persuasion' on DVD - agree totally about Ciaran Hinds (yum!!!)

Lucy Briers played Mary Bennet in 'Pride and Prejudice' - don't think there is a Mary in Persuasion.

I knew Sophie Thompson was Emma Thompson's sister and remembered her in 'Emma' with Gwyneth Paltrow.

But didn't realised until yesterday morning that she was in 'Four Weddings and A Funeral'

Mary is one of Anne Elliot's sisters, she has Mary and Elizabeth. Mary is a self obsessed and selfish hypochondriac and is married to a bloke who actually wanted to marry Anne. Elizabeth lives with their father in Bath. Sorry getting off the subject here.
