Alistair Campbell - lighten up man!

I am enjoying the diaries and the tv series etc, but blimey, AC needs to lighten up a bit. What's with the moodiness, the chip on the shoulder, the brooding. The thing about Blair is that he looks like there is a bit of sunshine in his life. Campbell is a bit humourless. Don't suppose he reads mumsnet much, but please lighten up. Take a leaf out of Clinton's book (only one) and have a laugh at the world occasionally. Anyone else think this?

Yep, definitely think he's too self-obsessed. Also can't stand the way the media nowadays becomes the subject of its own programmes, or the way public servants make a mint from publishing their memoirs. And although I strongly disaprove of the Iraq war, I think AC has unwittingingly (or otherwise) don't TB a favour as he comes out of it quite well (only saw first programme though).

Despite misgivings, it's fascinating stuff though isn't it?
