Changed the name of this thread as we were very upset with the ending of series 3 out in Bangladesh! Waiting out for news of series 4.

Well at least Bob's golf clubs were useful for something.

Meanwhile, Bob is leaving in disgrace.

Aw - what a sad ending. Yeah, I know Major Bob overstepped, but it seems a tad unfair that he lost his career when so many others DIDN’T in those days.

Yes, it is a sad ending and a very sad waste of a military career.

When are we doing our next watchalong?

Yes, it's difficult to know whether to feel sorry for him or not. Shame it's the officer who came up through the ranks who is disgraced and marched out. Here's Tony Wilton to do the rather cheesy proud salute bit. And some sad saxophone music that sounds faintly reminiscent of 'Frost'.

There's a lot in that episode, quite enjoyed Kate having a brief romance, and liked her clothes. Some of the ones that appear in later series are little more questionable.

That was a nice diversion from......Brexit! Back to the same old, same old, I suppose.

I'm ok for Tuesday or Thursday next week.

I can do both but Tuesday for preference.

Talking of the clothes aspect Rhu, despite how tarty Donna looks in this series, in later series she looks really good.

Yawn, yawn Brexit again.

I agree about the clothes. As you say, fashions aside, they reflect the way in which she matures and changes her attitude. She is a character on a real "Journey", and I like the fact that she was given 5 series or so to really develop, especially given the length of the later series.

Well ladies we're seeing bits of information appearing every day now on Series 4 of Our Girl. Yesterday it was read through of the script and today some actors confirmed. Mark Armstrong (Spanner) Jack Perry (Jackson) Sean Sagar (Monk) and John Michie (the Brigadier). Let's hope some of our other favourites are confirmed soon but I think we can take it as definite that BA won't be among them. 😥

Magi, sadly I am not paying a lot of attention to the OG news, even though I know I will still watch it. I do hope the new SF boss is back - he was good value for money!

Hmmm, not a huge fan of the brigadier really, but I do like Spanner. Looks as if Jackson is making a reappearance then. Ben Batt who played the SF boss, was hilarious. I hope he comes back.
