I think this is great. One of the best things I've seen in ages. The sense of impending doom is palpable. Anyone else?

Channel 4. Not sure when the main slot is but I record at midnight-ish on Mondays. One of the Walter Presents ones I think. Danish with subtitles.

Just watched Walter's Intro and downloading it now.

It is a fantastic series; the best thing I've seen in ages. Lots of familiar faces from scandi-noir favourites. You are right about the sense of impending doom - the last episode is so tense, emotional and hard to forget. Absolutely love August. The family dynamics and relationships are so well written and acted. There is a second series, but can't seem to find it yet in the uk.

Loving it! Took until episode three to get hooked, but now think it is on a par with Borgen for making me feel completely invested in the characters, good and bad. Yo to ed 8 and don't want it to end.

Really looking forward to Borgen.
