God I loved that programme so much! I wanted to be all of them and to live in that house. I wish I could go back to those days.

Ooh yes! It was ahead of it's time that show.

God I loved that show. That's when my love for Andrew Lincoln began. Phwaaaorrrr.

This Life reminds me so much of uni. Loved that show!

23 years! Such an amazing programme. The supporting cast were just as good as the five main characters too: Kira, Egg's dad (Jerry, maybe?), Joe, Delilah, Ferdy... so good.
Best line was when someone threw a drink over Anna and her comeback was: "You should've warned me, I would've opened my mouth."

13 years since they did the catch up, how has that happened? And why not a This Life +20.

Loved it. We have the dvds. Perhaps we should break it out again.

When it was shown, I was at a similar stage in life to the characters and I really enjoyed watching it.

I was in a house share at the time, 3 of us all about the same age as the characters, we religously watched it with wine and fags. I actually got the box set for Christmas this year. Loved Daniella Nardini (think that was her name), as a child we used to go to Scotland to stay with my granny in the summer and went to an ice-cream place in Largs which had the same name.

I loved this at the time. But I re-watched it a few years back when they did the reunion episode. I don’t think it aged that well. A lot of the characters that I thought were quirky or interesting when I was young, just seemed petulant & irritating. But maybe that was the point....

Anna was fab. Jack Davenport was (and still is) hot, and the theme tune was brilliant.

I wonder whether it was something of its time though. There are several programmes I loved when I first watched them, but when I've tried to rewatch them again a couple of decades later, they have not retained their appeal.

Was telling one of our company lawyers about it a couple of weeks ago - she's only a couple of years younger and had never heard of it.
16 year old me used to get so embarrassed during sex scenes coz I always watched it with my dad.
