Mysterys with no murder?

DD (8) loves the atmosphere of classic detective or mystery programmes like Poirot and can stay focused on quite a long complex storyline but, being little, is understandably unsettled by murder/death plots.

She asked me if there was a programme like Poirot but where nobody dies. I’m having trouble finding something like that - would love suggestions if anyone has any?

Shakespeare and Hathaway on Iplayer? Bit (lot) less highbrow than Poirot but good clean fun.

I agree with the Shakespeare and Hathaway rec, although mainly the second series. Most (possibly all?) of the first series episodes have murders, but the second series is mostly murder free. It’s all very sweet and light too

Oh thank you both! Just saw this. I will take a look. I enjoyed series one as soothing, undemanding viewing, but I never noticed series two at all. Great news about it being less murdery for DD.
