This had better be good has been a long,boring week. Spent the whole week in hospital with dd2, (without a tv!)and then she came home, and didn't have a great night last night, so I need this to distract me.

By the time they brought out hooch & mad dog I was old enough to be drinking proper drinks in pubs rather than parks

I can't face vodka and orange after a bad night on that in my 20s! I'm 54 now and still remember how bad it was years later.

It's only in my later, more impoverished years I've been reduced to drinking cheaper cider and wine, rather than my preferred tipple of neat vodka.

80s Malibu is my drink like that, drunk as a skunk & sick as a dog at about 16/17 & have never drunk it again

Snakebite & black in a plastic pint glass has led to many messy nights

Malibu is deceptively sweet and usually mixed with other sweet stuff so it's easy to neck and not realise how bad it is!
They used to put little umbrellas in the glass too! Bless.

Raahh I used to like vodka but never liked pub orange juice so I drank vodka mixed with reef (alcoholic orange juice) no wonder I can’t remember much of my youth
