I can't understand how it can be so simple as to 'just build Phil up again'. Surely everyone would be rolling in it if it was that easy? Was Phil mean to Lola before she left? I can't remember her storylines at all other than heavy make up and a thing with Jay.

I remember when Phil tried to get custody of Lexie at some stage - that wouldn't have endeared him to Lola, would it?

Phil took Lola to court for custody of Lexi didn’t he? I can’t quite remember how/why that came about

Lexi was taken into care when Lola was arrested for something. As her grandfather Phil applied for kinship foster care and had custody for a bit. Lola fought to get Lexi back, Phil fight back for a bit and then Sharon whispered in his ear and he agreed to support Lola's application to regain custody of her. Something like that.

Thanks Lindsay. Fair enough that the child's grandfather would apply for kinship instead of letting the child go to social services/foster care. Lola should be thankful really (leaving aside that it is the Mitchell faaaaaaamily).

Yes, they all looked sheepish! Reminded me of when Max told them all off when he was plotting his weyland take over etc.
They all have skeletons.
Shame Ian wasn't there to get a bit of her wrath as well.
I wouldn't have mentioned Linda and Stuart though : she was getting free drinks after all.
Plus Linda and her bun released mick out of prison ! So a bit unfair.
