I was expecting their day Salon to be busy and then actually doing stuff. If they think sitting down watching hairdresse work is Salon they have shock coming! Surely could have had them washing hair and doing nails and being busy.

Witness protection and a change of identity seems extreme for somebody who was selling drugs around East London. It is t like she was in the know about who is importing them/would know the big names etc but maybe this is normal drug informant procedures whether big or small scale.

Glad to see the back of Evie too! I think a salon back in the square could be good and lord knows they need to do something with Dee and her gcse and Kim and Patrick. Karen's older daughter was a nice touch too I thought. Iqra and habiba are sooooo annoying and terrible acting from them. I reckon we're on for a honey/billy reunion eventually (after billy accuses dentist of cheating, honey thinks he's lying to split them up, then eventually he will cheat and honey will forgive billy), Dee and Mitch are clearly going to be getting it on and Ben must be due to return imminently, and Bobby at some stage too. Good times ahead hopefully!

It was cringey when Kim mentioned Denise's 1 GSE to the supposed client - is EE doing dark comedy now or does Denise equate with Julie Walters in Educating Rita Smile

Also them all sitting around commenting would put clients off wanting to go there in the first place

I suppose Denise was never meant to be portrayed as stupid. But she didn’t have the opportunities to finish school and got pregnant very young. I can’t remember the name of Libby’s older sister but she must be late twenties at least? Strange nobody ever even mentions her.

I think that Dee has a horrible partner ( the girls dad) and didn't finish school.
I know I mock her one exam but it did show you can do things later on in life and education can continue , so it was a good story from that perspective.
Shame she didn't go on to do more of them though.

Yes shame after food bank and stuff and she had a job she didn’t try for maths Exam. Given they are bare mim you need for most jobs these days. She could have easily done a degree and had a career after it.
