Lining is so bloody hard! I just hate lining jackets and coats, can never ever do them right.

I have a lovely piece of light green wool in my fabric chest of drawers. I'm dreaming of a coat. But I only wear waterproof outer garments here.

Have to admit she would drive me up the wall dillite - I dread to think what she would be like writing a grant application . . . .

I'm not sure I'd want Patrick assessing my unsuitable shoulders on national tv...

My DM did a dressmaking 'O' level as a mature student and made a very elegant coat dress. I feel a bit sad that we didn't appreciate how clever she was at the time.

Jen's buttons look off and I dislike the grey panels.

Those grey panels look much better than I expected - what a shame about the lining.

Riccardo's is very inventive but it's a bulky fabric to use to make a tie waisted coat. I don't like Jen's at all.
