I thought I would make a new thread quickly seeing that the first one is nearly full

I've heard that some charity shops will take fabric scraps to send off for recycled waste, dillite - I've never tried it, though.

If they're big enough for patchwork they should definitely take them; my local Oxfam sells bags of scraps.

Fontella · 12/03/2019 21:16

I was sadly a little too young for Biba, but I absolutely love the look.

I was a teenager in the late 70s so had a couple of years of flares and hippiedom before punk kicked in.

Puffling - my Superpower is my autocorrecting.

I always end up steeped in gravy . . . .

IStillMissBlockbuster · 12/03/2019 21:16

Love the fashion history lady.
dislike pussy bow blouses. Ugly.

Poor Mercedes, I don't think she gives herself the best chance of going through tbh.

dillite · 12/03/2019 21:16

I do have to say that Patrick's jacket game this season has been lacking. he's been looking like someone who's no idea how to wear a jacket.

I use my small scraps in the wood burner. They make very good firelighters.

FuzzyPuffling · 12/03/2019 21:17

Why a "pussybow"? My cats would be deeply offended if asked to wear one of these.

Fontella · 12/03/2019 21:17

Yes I used to volunteer in a charity shop and any garments which aren't put on sale in the shop go in the 'rag'.

This is collected weekly, and the charity receives money on weight.

BitOfFun · 12/03/2019 21:17

Oh dillite, that looks GORGEOUS!

SchadenfreudePersonified · 12/03/2019 21:17

Esme is MUCH slimmer than I thought she would be.

The clothes she has worn up until this week have made her look like a "traditionally built" lady.

She's tiny!

SoupDragon · 12/03/2019 21:18

Blouse of Frankenstein.

TheSassyAssassin · 12/03/2019 21:18

Like the sound of your posh bunting Fuzzy! Love a bit of bunting.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 12/03/2019 21:19

I wonder if Joe on his own is enough? I feel he needs a comedy partner.

Wolfcub · 12/03/2019 21:19

There are some real horrors here

SchadenfreudePersonified · 12/03/2019 21:19

They are definitely down on Riccardo

RomaineCalm · 12/03/2019 21:19

I've finally stumbled over from the MC thread. Not sure how much I can contribute to this but I do love the Sewing Bee even though I have absolutely no talent for anything remotely 'crafty'.

dillite · 12/03/2019 21:19

Riccardo can just pretend that it was a design feature.

Those blokes aren't very FUPA friendly.

Ha ha soup!

SchadenfreudePersonified · 12/03/2019 21:20

Soup

LOL!

RomaineCalm · 12/03/2019 21:20

Some of these are truly horrible.

BitOfFun · 12/03/2019 21:20

Oh Mercedes, poor show!

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 12/03/2019 21:20

Know what you mean about Esme, Schaden, she looked a bit Soviet in those shapeless things she was wearing.

BitOfFun · 12/03/2019 21:21

Juliet is doing brilliantly.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 12/03/2019 21:21

I disagree that Juliet's fabrics work well - it looks horrible!

dontcallmelen · 12/03/2019 21:21

dillite oh my that skirt is truly wonderful 💓
Head has exploded at the thought of bra making.
