Which soap?

I haven't watched soaps in years and find I always used to end up missing too much etc. That was when I still had a social life!
Anyway life has got quiet and I now have some time to fill in the evenings
What soap should I try?
Used to find Hollyoaks very OTT and its on very early would rather something on around or after 7.30/8pm
Eastenders/coronation street/emmerdale?

Emmerdale is the only one I watch. Eastenders went a bit far fetched and I found corrie boring. I love emmerdale.

I love Home and Away but that's on at 6pm, unless you watch it in 5+1 at 7pm. I watch Emmerdale and Corrie too. I watch Hollyoaks, but in my opinion, it's the worst soap, after EastEnders, which I gave up on nearly a year ago

Thank you tried to watch about 5 minutes of eastenders yesterday as it was on before Holby City and just seemed like lots of shrieking and crying. I couldn't make head or tail of it

Yeah EastEnders I just found so draining and depressing. I watched it for years but just completely lost interest last year so stopped watching for good

I only watch Corrie and get into it.

Used to watch Eastenders but it got too depressing and I find Emmerdale boring.

I only watch Australian ones these days. Sunnier.

Coronation Street and Eastenders but Coronation Street is so bad lately I might bin it off. Used to watch Emmerdale as well up until about 18 months ago but just got bored with it

Emmerdale is the only one I never miss. I don't watch Eastenders any more. Corrie is very bad and I barely watch these days.

I watch Emmerdale, Eastenders and Coronation street but if I could only choose one it would be Emmerdale

Enjoyed Emmerdale yesterday but couldn't get into Coronation Street
Watching Emmerdale tonight. Was thinking I might give Eastenders another go but as others have said, it does seem depressing.
So Emmerdale is the favourite so far...

I think more than one might be too much of a commitment anyway but I would like to get into one
