Jada's Spanish was due to the school losing teacher. AnneMarie was in Wales so it may differ although subjects seemed a bit random.

I did feel sorry for Shakira but she was just so very awful. That poor art teacher. I have pondered over the seemingly very loose use of the term 'gifted' with any of the children featured - it would seem to me that they were chosen for their sadly very dysfunctional backgrounds rather than any innate giftedness. I hope that next year will prove me wrong - Anne-Marie and Kian seemed to have the most spark about them.

I agree about shakira's mum. She seems to like babies but not have a clue how to guide them through subsequent stages of life.
