Luther - now I get it!

I’ve just binge watched the whole first series of Luther. It’s absolutely addictive and fantastic. The number of murders seems high (why always serial killers?) but it is brilliant.

And now I understand the fawning over Idris. Mesmerising. Sexy as hell.

Wish I had known how good Luther was before!!

I have heard only good things about this Series-Never watched it before because it's not American( I know,I know, but I just prefer American tv series)
I love reading serial Killer thrillers, so have high hopes I will enjoy.
Anyway! Tonight me and my OH are going to watch for the first time.

I've just this minute finished watching the final episode of season 5 and I'm a mess. Can't handle not knowing if there will be another series or not and not knowing how long the wait is. It's brilliant but ruthless and it leaves you feeling a bit bereft!

@Pieinthesky2 I felt the same!! But then got a bit disillusioned in the subsequent series and seriously hacked off with Luther's 'distressed' face and the glaring errors that the detectives made at the scenes of the crime!
