The porn culture is hugely concerning to me as a mother of 2 boys. It honestly worries me what this generation will believe is acceptable behaviour.

This woman's experience of FGM is horrific. And this was a wealthy girl, what would happen to a poorer girl is unimaginable.

OMG I knew I recognised that woman!! The northern girl who talked about clients was on a documentary series "a very British brothel". Well worth a watch if you can find it. They all got Chinese takeaway for breakfast every day and sat around in high heels and lingerie eating kebabs and drinking coke. Occasionally someone would pop in for 20 mins and they'd go back to watching telly 😂😂

I know the older American woman, she is pretty amazing! I did find the programme hard to watch in places though. Felt a bit squeamish at the tampons.

I watched it, well part of it as I turned over after it had started. It was very good (naturally many disgusting comments on Twitter.)

I recognised the Irish woman- though simply can't recall where from. DH thought he knew her too - it's possible she campaigns I suppose!

My 12 year old DD was downstairs with me until shortly before the first ad break. I was torn between being the cool mum and letting her watch it with me and sending her off to bed. She thought it was gross and took herself off upstairs!
I found it fascinating. Would feel fine about her seeing it in the next year or two to be fair.

My husband watched it with me too & thought it was a really educational program even messaged his friend to watch it.

Are her other documentaries available does anyone know? Or were they just pictures?

I loved it, it addressed some really important subjects.

I’d have it on the curriculums and am planning to rewatch with DD14 at some point.
