I can't remember any of the actors and only vaguely remember the plot so it'll be a bit of a challenge!
It was on terrestrial tv in the last 5-6 years. It was about an army unit based somewhere like Middle East. Unit Commander was played by a posh semi-famous male actor and his character's daughter was in the same unit. There was a slightly creepy 2nd in command, might have been Scottish, who was like an uncle figure.
There was a hinted at scandal that the 2 men plus others had been involved in years before, when they were off duty. One of them had a liking for local ladies and the rest were trying to stop him. A child was killed or injured (shot?) so they paid money to a sibling as retribution.
The Commander's daughter tried to find out what had happened but her dad either had alzheimers or pretended. We saw him back in the UK looking sad in his kitchen as a civilian. The daughter wasn't paid by Nicola Walker but someone similar with blond hair.
Any ideas?
