Who else is watching this? I do like it - or maybe I just want to like it - but I feel that the Carla Monroe character is completely and utterly ridiculous, and the way Lizzie Caplan plays her comes across as anachronistic and way too contemporary. The shoehorned-in lesbian sex scene was just utterly ridiculous. What was the motivation on either side? I also have a really hard time with Simone's motivation regarding Forster, the Gestapo guy. The only time she ever seems to smile is when he's flirting with her and she kind of seems to like him. Are we meant to believe that she does? I'm really not sure.
