Admittedly didn't know much about it before but like a good thriller (binge watched You in one child-free weekend). Have always loved Eric Bana and like Connie Nielsen.

But it's crap. Lazily written. Predictable. Unrealistic to the point of 🙄.

Tempted to give up after first episode.

Anyone else bothering?

I just know it's going to go down the irritating path of the daughters figuring him out and the mum refusing to believe them. Such a lazy TV trope.

Also I kinda want bad things to happen to Debbie for ignoring more red flags than Karl Marx's stag do and moving in with the guy after five weeks.

You know it's a true story right? I listened to the hit podcast, wondered if the tv show (or is it a film?) would be any good. Don't want to ruin the memory of the podcast which was excellent!

It's a completely true story and so the characters are behaving exactly as it went down
