Like I posted on the other thread, I always feel unexpected pregnancy stories are a copout when they can't think of another plot line. And it was all so melodramatic and out of character with the mundanity of hte rest of the series. Did kind of like the ambiguity of it all - there was a sign saying 'No swimming' so are they going to be swept out to the Atlantic Ocean? Leaving their 4 year old son and the sister who doesn't seem to have grown at all in the last two series?

All in all, I think series 4 has been quite poor. A bit painful at times.

Weird ending. Just so irresponsible to leave kids in car. Can't imagine one parent thinking it's ok, but both of them?

I have enjoyed the series though. I find it so funny and clever, despite ridiculous storylines.

I thought it was excellent, fun and honest. Yeah yeah, it's so irresponsible to leave kids in a car and go out swimming in the sea etc but it wasn’t about that, it wasn’t seeking an opinion on parenting. It was telling a (fictional) story about how no-one and nothing in life is perfect and sometimes it’s all a bit £7ck3d up. And I enjoyed it.

Didn't see it (will watch it on Prime in March) butt he ending was allegedly either a metaphor (swimming against the tide/treading water) or they die and the kids in the car probably die from the heat. Cheery.

I think the unexpected pregnancy was perfect, as it mirrors the original plot line and the reason they are together.

I don’t like the ambiguous ending, I like closure. But that said, I’d rather not know than find out they had both been swept out to sea! I like happy endings.
