It was brilliant. Shame so few people seem to have watched it, there wasn't that much reaction on Twitter.

The whole Syrian war is sickening, even more so than others in my lifetime. War correspondents all seem a bit mad (ifswim) but they do an amazing job.

I'm really surprised more people didn't watch it too. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves.

What channel? Wanted to see 'A Private War' at the cinema last Monday (the film with Rosamund Pike), but ironically, I injured my eye that night and was in A and E. Still feeling sorry for myself as eye still not better.

BBC (4 I think). It was a Storyville documentary called "Under the Wire". It'll be on I player.

I want to see A Private War too. Hope your eye gets better- the irony!

Glad this has positive reviews, planning to watch it this evening.

Finally got round to watching it. What a fascinating documentary and such brave people, especially that poor Dr working in the medical centre desperate for the world to know about the slaughter of innocent civilians in Homs.

Glad the cameraman got his and MC's story heard. Hopefully more people will watch it on the iplayer.
