Leah Remini - Scientology and the aftermath

I have just watched the series with Leah Remini all about Scientology as I have heard it spoken about but actually know nothing about it, so I wanted a bit if insight into it.

Oh my god, it is just crazy !!! I know there are 2 sides to every story (well I believe 3 but hey ho ) but she has been involve with them and it is just crazy the amount of money they take off people, encouraging people to get loans , remortgage their homes and not speak with their own family.

Has anyone else seen it or has anyone actually been involved with Scientology ?

I go off actors when I find out they're scientologists. I was a huge fan of Laura Prepon until I read her Wikipedia page.

It is terrifying! There's loads of stuff about it out there and worth a watch, but hang on to your hat!

John Travolta has good things to say about it. He's been a member since the 70s. But he's high profile and gives them mega $$$. I'd love to hear Katie Holmes opinion about it. There's a church in Manchester but I've never seen it open.

Very scary. When I was late teens I walked into their Christian Science reading room to check them out. I naively thought they were science and religion. I started reading their book and the stuff in there was batshit crazy. I walked out of there as fast as I could.
