I have Netflix and Sky boxsets. I prefer US dramas, crime especially. Or legal/ political thrillers.

I've recently watched and loved- Power, The Sinner, How To Get Away With Murder, The Wire

Enjoyed early seasons of OITNB but got a bit bored after a while. Not interested in sci-fi or fantasy.

Would ideally like a few seasons already available to binge. Any recommendations please?

Suits (netflix)

and i recommend the 'good wife' boxset, although you will have to order the DVDs as they are no longer available on netflix. they are definitely worth it though.

Thank you, I did watch the pilot for Suits a while ago (out of Meghan Markle curiosity!) and then kind of forgot about it. Might have to give it a proper go.

Yes I loved The Good Wife, watched the first couple of seasons weekly when they first aired and then lost track. That's why I prefer to binge watch one show at a time these days.

I'd like to heartily recommend Limitless. Only one season but its quite a long run.

I am having a MASSIVE crush on the lead actor he is delicious.

It's quite funny, if you liked White Collar etc you might enjoy

Just watched Abducted in Plain Sight on Netflix. That needs watching from beginning to end. What a bizarre story.

Go back and finish the Good Wife! It's so good. And The Good Fight is a spin off series which is just as good IMO.

I love legal stuff too

I think Suits was a bit shite, like a pale male-heavy vaguely sexist imitation of the Good Wife. If you're going to watch both then start with Suits as better to watch the worst one first.

I'm currently enjoying Russian Dolls, short episodes and intriguing

Also Silk (British legal one) and The Split (another Brit legal)

Ozark is pretty good too. I'm chomping at the bit to watch the second series, DP wants to finish Iron Fist first which is very annoying

Slightly trashier I loved Scandal- more political than legal but really good, and lots of legal stuff too ad the US Attorney General is one of the main characters

Following for more recommendations myself. Limitless sounds good, I'll look that up

We just finished watching Ride Upon the Storm & really enjoyed it. One of those family dramas as opposed to crime, mystery, etc, which get rather samey. It’s Danish. Premise is Father is a Lutheran priest, two adult sons. Father charismatic & somewhat unhinged. Central setting is inside the Deanery house. Very unusual, superb acting, compelling. Same author as Borgen. All 4.
