Oh and Good Girls has Mae Whitman from Parenthood in.

TheMammothHunters · 04/02/2019 18:12

Where did you watch Parenthood- really want to see this.
I like Outlander, life in pieces and Mrs Maisel on Prime and You, The Good Place and Grace and Frankie on Netflix.

EhlanaOfElenia · 04/02/2019 18:14

The Glitch - An Australian version of people coming back from the dead (as people, not as zombies!)

VincentVanGoughandhisear · 04/02/2019 18:15

Netflix

How to get away with murder.
Schitts Creek.

aurorie11 · 04/02/2019 18:15

Prime - Lucifer and Lethal Weapon (tv series)

ImNotShpanishImEgyptshun · 04/02/2019 18:16

American crime story. The OJ Simpson one is jaw dropping.

Jasharps · 04/02/2019 18:16

McLeod's Daughters (amazon)
Russian Doll (Netflix)
Life in Pieces (Amazon)

mommybunny · 04/02/2019 18:20

DH and I are about to finish season 3 of Man in the High Castle. We recommend it, because the alternative world it describes (1960s USA with Germany and Japan having won WWII) is fascinating, especially in the first season. It is very dark and dystopian though.

I hadn’t caught Mad Men when it was first broadcast and saw all 7 seasons with Netflix recently, getting through an episode each leg of my train commute. Highly recommend that if you haven’t seen it (I heard Matthew Weiner’s follow up about the Romanovs on Amazon wasn’t nearly as good ☹️ ).

PotteryLady · 04/02/2019 18:22

Goliath - 2 seasons fab
Sinners
Vikings

mommybunny · 04/02/2019 18:22

Oh and where did you get ER? I thought it was only on Hulu and not available in U.K.

SinkGirl · 04/02/2019 18:25

Mindhunter
Manhunt: Unabomber
American crime story (both seasons although the first is much better)
Sons of Anarchy

Sneaky Pete
Billions
(Both on amazon)

I’d strongly urge you to try The Good Place again - watch the whole first series, it picks up as it gets going and I don’t know anyone that doesn’t love it by the end of the first season

The Wire takes a few episodes to get into, but then it’s absolutely incredible

SinkGirl · 04/02/2019 18:26

Also, Barry is fantastic if it’s available on either (not sure it is)

SeaToSki · 04/02/2019 18:26

New McGuyver (sp?)

toobusytothink · 04/02/2019 18:36

Animal Kingdom on Amazon Prime. I had never heard of it but someone recommended it and I am hooked.

TowerRingInferno · 04/02/2019 18:37

ER - sadly not on streamed tv (would love to watch all those again). It was just an example of the sort of thing I’ve loved in the past. Sorry for confusion.

Lots of great ideas, thank you.

Have you watched Sex Education on Netflix? Definitely worth watching.
