Anyone else watching this? I'm enjoying it so far, good mix of drama and funny moments. The woman playing the main part is good too (especially considering it's het first big acting role) but I cannot get past her fake accent! It's not the worst by a long shot but there are giveaways (e.g. the way she pronounces words that end in an R) and it gets distracting.

I missed this.. will watch on catch up. The ads for it looked good.

I'm going to ruin the party - I didn't like this series - though as a general rule find that Joe Cole plays interesting roles but thought he was a bit wasted on this. And the main woman - just NO!!! I just couldn't like her personality. And didn't ferl convinced with her ocd acting & issues either.
Brilliant idea by the series writers but didn't quite translate to the screen for me. I hope that they do a 2nd series & that they put more into developing the characters & storyline.

Ok, I'm bumping this and should probably name change but I need to put this statement out there for your opinions. I've been watching this and I love it. My DP has just caught up and sent me a message tonight saying "Yeah but this is what mens mind are like all the time!" Really? REALLY? I'm so uncomfortable with this statement and want to run to the hills. Is this really how men think?

Er, puzzles you think her accent is fake- it sounds just like mine and I’m from the same bit of Scotland as she is

I’m really enjoying it. I read the book it’s based on a few years ago, and think it’s been well done.

Just started a new thread about it, didn't see this one. I'm only on the first episode and the bit where she started snogging her mum had me this >< close to turning the telly off!!
