Apparently so but then again he is always middle not sure who big a fan base he would need?

The women need to stop relying on fancy lifts so much it looks good but they aren't skating as much as the should be and the further in the competition goes the more obvious that becomes. Same goes for wes fancy tricks are all well and good but he looks wobbly when he skates not as polished as JJ who skates well dances well and so doesn't need the lifts!

GC looked a bit disappointed not to have an exit route. The gap between her and others is going to grow whereas she could talk her way out of being voted off earlier.

Glad she's gone, but yes Matt did not look thrilled to be staying another week, I'd say he's fed up with drama.

Yes Gemma improving then falling having her confidence knocked and being kicked out plays well in terms of a storyline.

Gemma improving falling then being rubbish but given another chance and still being rubbish isn't anything!

Gemma is all about the story has benn from the start hx

I was hopeful she'd exaggerate any injuries from her fall last week, take her fee and exit gracefully Grin
Maybe she doesn't get an decent fee unless she stays in a certain number of weeks.

If the powers that be have seen her on any other reality tv shows they would have the contract all signed up to be no fee unless voted out/deemed unfit to skate by show medics. Who tonight have allowed Jayne to skate after passing out and Saara to skate with a possible concussion! So a fall isn't going to cut it!

LIZS I definitely think she wanted to go earlier, and is now stuck- because her (deluded) fans will keep her in. She is 1/2/3 episode pony. Stretching her 15 minutes of 'fame'. The fall last week might not have been deliberate, but she would have been very happy if it was.

Gareth maybe (given the amount of these shows she has been on - call it insurance) they have said- you must be in to, say, week, 7?

Attachment showing the rules. Also google the Katrina rule. Years ago a skater wore a leotard with no skirt at the Olympics caused a lot of raised eyebrows and skirts were made compulsory. Its only been in recent years that female skaters are allowed to wear unitards in freestyle.

So pleased that Saira has gone, she should have gone in her first skate-off. I disagree that it was in any way close and glad the judges realised they wouldn’t get away with their ITV bias again.

Should have been Gemma and Saira in the skate-off...but then Saira would still be in. So overall I‘m OK with that result.

fortified the costume rules are interesting really- I remember there being a bit of discussion during the Winter Olympics last year (off the back of a couple of memorable malfunctions).

I am very pleased that the ice rink -like pavements have now melted this morning- which means I will be able to walk the dog- without ending up looking like the Ice Donkey. Again Grin.

Matt definitely looked disappointed! I would love to see Gemma prove everyone wrong and put in a really good performance but don't think it's going to happen. Why are they all being over the top nice to her now? It's very fake!

Jane Danson looks ill, a shadow of a former self. Hope she ok as she seems like a lovely woman.

I was a bit underwhelmed with last nights show. Wes scares me, it's like he's good but unsteady at the same time. I don't enjoy watching him. Think James is better (tights were a bit much though!)

Brian is funny at times which annoys me as I think he's a twat but find myself warming to him and his self deprication
