Any X Files fans?

I didn't watch it the first time around and have just started watching from the beginning on Amazon prime.

Im only seven episodes in - is it worth watching? Best season/favourite episode?

Ooooh loved the X Files! Chemistry between Mulder and Sculley was great, unexplained happenings and government cover ups! Great tv.

Bizarrely I can't remember many episodes but I think I recall one with a man who had a collapsible skeleton so could sneak anywhere he wanted and do Bad Things. Scared the shit out of me.

But I may have completely imagined all of that

Series 4 'Home' is the best episode ever! SOOOO scary

Also, there's one where Mulder and Scully tell the same story form their individual viewpoints- that is really funny

Loved the XFiles! I seem to remember I preferred the earlier 'monster of the week' seasons before it got really UFO heavy so I'd say stick with it in order. Yeah the guy who could squeeze into small spaces scared the sh*t out of me. I'd love to watch it again. Has it dated?

Loved the c failed. But lost the plot with the conspiracy theory in the later series. The stand alone early investigations were the best. So wanted schilling and milder to get married.

Schilling and Milder 🤣 I loved the early X files, not so much the more recent series.

I loved the Eugene Victor Tooms episode - it was brilliant. I loved the X-Files when I was a teenager. Tempted to sign up to amazon prime just to watch it again!

The squeeze episode was right up my street with the scary stuff- his eyes!

It feels more nostalgic than dated really - pagers, giant mobile phones with pull out aerials. Bit like the first season of friends!

I LOVE it. Loved the monster of the week episodes. And the more 'arty' ones- post modern Prometheus, the one on the ship like the wizard of oz, the magician one.

And the creepy guy who loves Scully, he was great in a horrible way.

If you liked 'Squeeze' , just wait for 'Tooms' later in the series. Bloody brilliant...

I love it and (still) have a massive crush on BOTH Mulder and Scully. Lots of great episodes, some better than others, but I love the main alien conspiracy story. It really grows on you as you keep on watching!

I've never managed to watch all the episodes, went back to the beginning a few years ago with the intention of finally doing it before the new ones started and never made it again. Third time lucky, maybe?!

I love The Post-Modern Prometheus in season 5, which is shot in black and white, Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man, and Mulder's Magic Mushrooms in season 10, purely because of the sequence where Mulder thinks he's tripping and David Duchovny gets his shirt off

I LOVE the x files and truly believe Mulder is my soul mate in paranoia I gave all the episodes apart from the new ones on DVD and often put in on of an evening when there's nothing in TV.
Best episode? "Musings of a cigarette smoking man" think it's series 3? Basically confirms everything I've thought about the U.S. Govt since I was about 9 ...

Oh God yes. More than worth it. Season 7 was my personal favourite.

I LOVE the X files it's one of my favourite TV programmes, the earlier seasons are brilliant.

I love the episode with the Adams and eves can't remember what season it was though, can't choose a fav season.

It was called Eve. First season, about halfway through the season I think.

I thought it was a great episode, I knew t was one of the much earlier episodes, the girls In that episode were menacingly creepy

I loved the X-Files and the Tooms episode was just terrifying. I started getting a bit fed up with the conspiracy theory stuff after the first few series and stopped watching. I also loved the X-Files books that Jane Goldman wrote telling the real stories that inspired the series.

Huge fan here. 'Eva's was brilliant as was Toombs. There was the super creepy photographer guy that scared me half to death. The Scully Stalker..the awful one with the mother and sons in the farm house... then the more light hearted like the Xmas ghosts, Lizard man, tripping Mulder episodes.

One that really got to me was 'cClosure' where we really find out about Samantha. That one broke my heart.

Think the best episodes were the ones not about a conspioiracy /Samantha
