It's very good but the whole ' set in the 70s or 80s in an American type school with the kids owning mobiles' etc etc is a bit odd at first.
Plus Maeve : how does she get money?

Jean's accent is very ' cut glass' and the building they are in looks like it's about to be demolished ( I did read where it was filmed and looks like it might be coming down!)
It grew on me though and I loved Eric.
It's not my demographic at all but I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed it and watched four back to back on Sunday.

Absolutely loved it! Was nearly in tears on the last episode but then Otis wanking made me laugh. Loved all the characters and the storyline. Cannot wait for next series. Also, doesn't the actress who played maeve look like Margo Robbie?!

I'm enjoying it as long as I can get past the weird setting and fact most of the people playing teenagers look older. Love the clothes! And it's quite funny.

I liked Eric and Maeve: good acting all round.
Otis was sweet ; jeans accent was annoying though.
