Considering whether to let my 12 yo DD watch this, (she's 13 in April). Apparently EVERYONE in her class has seen it! Not usually bothered by this but she's been getting teased a bit in school for being "too innocent". I've always limited her screen time and as she has a little sister I wouldn't want her watching anything too grown up, but 'm aware that she then end up watching programs only suitable for younger kids.

I don't give a shit about bad language! My only reservation is the sex, but it is fairly tame. (I'm most of the way through the first series).

Should I just let her watch this series so she doesn't feel like the outsider at school or could you suggest any other series that is a bit more edgy than "Milly Inbetween"?!

My youngest was 12 rising 13 when he eventually watched the first series with no problems second time around and he really enjoyed it too. He was 11 when it first came out and the opening scene scared him to much to continue watching until a year later.

Thanks Whatjusthappened, I have said she can watch it if she likes but that it is scarey. She's considering it, (she's actually a bit of a scardy cat!) We'll see!!
