It amuses me no end that we have a real gp on our thread. I've just read that our local GP's surgery has only one GP and there are 11,000. + patients.
No chance of a home visit or even seeing a GP here

That's not good. Ours is for about 15000 people and has at least 10 GPs plus trainees.
