Now I am watching "Stranger things" and it is amazing! This is a series, but you will definitely like it! It is quite misterious and keeps in suspence till the end. Try it!

CarrieErbag · 15/12/2018 08:05

Thanks Thomas, have indeed seen Stranger Things.
I need a good film every now and again that I can get done and dusted in one sitting.

I'm waiting for the Bird Box releases on the 21,Sandra Bullock is in it and looks really good.

I haven't seen it yet but my sister tells me Gerald's Games is really good.

TheChristmasBear · 16/12/2018 06:46

Dumplin is quite good in a low key kinda way.

chickensaresafehere · 16/12/2018 10:51

Prisoners with Hugh Jackman & Jake Gyllenhaal. Brilliant thriller.

CarrieErbag · 16/12/2018 12:58

Thanks chicken, I think that might be right up my street.

Girl on the Train had a slow start, but I enjoyed it when it got going.

CarrieErbag · 16/12/2018 19:14

I should really add one of my own.

Gerald's game was the most fucked up thing I've seen in a while!!

I'm no wuss at all but it was weird and scary and just plain fucked up!

TheLittlestLightOnTheTree · 16/12/2018 19:22

22 July was good. Based on true story of massacre in Norway

3096 days was also good. Story of Natasha Kampusch

Nights in rodanthe for romance!

Cam for more fucked up weirdness

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 16/12/2018 19:30

Don't watch Hangman, absolute drivel and made me sad that the beautiful and talented Al Pacino lowered himself for such tosh Sad.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 16/12/2018 19:31
  • Berlin Syndrome was good though, slightly terrifying though
tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 16/12/2018 19:32

Sorry for too many though's there Smile

CarrieErbag · 16/12/2018 19:48

tellme I had Hangman on my possible list for tonight funnily enough.
I won't bother.
I shall look at others though, thanks all.

If you have Freeview, I'd recommend having a look at the films on Talking Pictures (Channel 81).

IHaveBrilloHair · 16/12/2018 20:08

I watched Hangman earlier this week too, total crap.

YetAnotherThing · 16/12/2018 20:18

I love these threads. Have nothing to add as my brain cannot retain names of anything

youngestisapsycho · 16/12/2018 21:28

Not a thriller... we watched Mowgli last night. Really enjoyed it.

ihatethecold · 17/12/2018 07:01

GaryBaldbiscuit · 17/12/2018 07:10

I enjoyed Dallas Buyers club, not a thriller though.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 17/12/2018 08:11

Dallas Buyers Club is brilliant, Matthew McWotsit and Jared Leto are incredible in it. Def put that on your list!
