MCP you are being unfair to Gary’s eyebrows. They are a perfectly normal size. It’s just his tiny eyes that make them look big.

Honestly the whole Gary/Amy relationship has such a hollow ring about it. Less likely than dead Jim in a bauble. Possibly because Gary is the least attractive man on Ramsey St as well as being stupid and a (rubbish) criminal, and although they’ve made Amy dull as fuck, she is a very attractive woman with a decent job and a millionaire father. Surely it would never happen?

My worry is that we will only get rid of Gary when his loser son Koil returns and, having learned amazing German building techniques, revolutionises the construction of Robinson Pines and Amy realises he’s the love of her loif and Gary stomps of to Queensland in a huff that his son has claimed back his girlfriend.

If Koil comes back then Amber might come back and, frankly, I can do without either of them.

well Kyle is coming back and apparently ruffles a few feathers (yawn). I’d say whoever dies was probably filming up until the break as I think Stefan Dennis said they’d just finished filming the death stuff around 7 December, a week before the break and things are filmed out of sequence all the time, as you know. I’m going to keep an eye on Insta to see if anyone stops posting about work, especially on the week they’re due to return from break, usually loads of them post about “back to work tomorrow” and so on.

Wasn't Xanthe supposed to be really far behind academically, remember she couldn't read properly when she first came? Is it realistic that she has improved to the extent to be able to study medicine?

There’s a new person coming for a guest stint called Jaqui Purvis playing Melissa Lohan. On insta she’s followed by Bea, Ned, Chloe and David. Not sure if that gives any clues to her role’s involvement.

Her insta is quite quiet but she has been a red head recently. I wonder if she’s the mystery football kicker from insta? Weird that not more are following but she was playing with Callum when they were off duty.

golden apparently there is going to be a Flick/Steph style showdown. Mark and Elly do make it to the wedding, and Chloe is a bridesmaid in the end, but I’m not sure whether Mark finds out about Elly and Chloe before or after the vows. I think Elly and Chloe cross the line but I’m not sure if it’s a full blown affair or if Elly just confuses their emotional closeness. Maybe Elly gets jealous of Chloe’s ex.

Yeah confusion, a kiss etc makes more sense. Chloe is so poorly, Thryve gone through so much etc. It isn't even that Chloe is a female, it's that Elly is besotted with Mark and I don't think would risk that

Yes, but she still got a higher ATAR score than Ben, Piper and Imogen did, and they were all supposed to be so much smarter than her Yes, she seemed to have learning/reading difficulties to start with, but I guess if she overcame them, and discovered an aptitude for science, it’s not too unrealistic. What is unrealistic is that we’re probably supposed to credit Elly, Susan and Finn with being such wonderful teachers that they turned her into a smart person

Yeah, they appear to have about 12 kids in a class, and that must reduce every time they go to the bush, as they always lose one. And the ‘problem’ children are always magically cured by making friends with someone who lives on Ramsey St.

You forgot Brad in your list of amazeballs Dead Poet’s Society role call of teacher heroes. Surely some of the imaginary kids currently at Erinsborough High would have been taught by that luminary of the academic world?
