@Hellomatey001 oh goodness that doesn't look like Alice. Hats off to the wardrobe peeps. I've said it before but I'm really loving how she's portraying Alice. Her acting is great

Starburst I know, I’m not fond of her either. I still think it’s Sonya who dies, too many people are returning who are closely associated with her, I don’t think that’s a coincidence.

@Lovewineandchocs yeah I'm thinking the same. I don't see them coming back just so she leaves with them and I don't see Toadie letting her go.

Apparently Xanthe is leaving... do we think she may be the one who dies? Or does she get her happy ending with Ben?

Ellie and Mark have made at least 2 references to the Gun and Roses music video November Rain. In that video, the bride dies on her wedding day. Could this be a clue?

Nah reckon Xanthe will Swan off to be a doctor at Dodgy Doctor Uni until
A) she comes back in x years with a new head to take over from Karl
B) she doesn't get another job and comes back in a year having hated it / got transfered / qualified in a year

Yeah, I think Xanthe will go to uni in Queensland and reunite with Ben. They might even have pre-filmed a reunion scene before Ben left. I hope so, I‘d like her to have a happy exit with the potential to come back. Elly doesn’t die on her wedding day, thankfully but there will be an epic showdown about Chloe’s feelings for her. Apparently Eve Morey was seen filming what looked like death scenes on a beach. I guess we’ll see in a few months.

Death scenes on beaches are usually cancer unless it's a collapse and delayed reaction from Alice who is so pretty in rl

Was thinking Naomi can't come back as she's too similar too Chloe in personality. You can only have one of a type at any one time. It's a Neighbours rule! For example 2 ditsy blonde with Xanthe taking over from Donna Shrugerlo etc.

So unlikely to be Toadie. I’m not sure he could work elsewhere lol. Sonya fits in with her having a baby and needing a different schedule or bit of time out.

Xanthe probably leaves end of Jan? With the new school year starting then. Maybe unis are a few weeks later.

I think Amber took over from Donna... & She took over from Elle, although there was some crossover with them, IIRC. It's almost always the same character development - ditsy blonde is friends with intelligent darker haired girl (Rachel, Dodge, Imogen, Piper). Eventually darker haired, sensible one discovers her naughty side (e.g. Imogen & Daniel getting together) & blonde girl turns out to be v conscientious & actually quite intelligent/successful. (c.f. Amber's job, Donna's shrugelero, Elle's high-flying career, Xanthe's doctor ambitions.... Anyone remember how Janae left?)

I was thinking Toadie because Stefan Dennis said something about it changing the world and everyone being in a state for two weeks. That seems a bit excessive for Sonia. Unless the manner of death is so traumatic. If Toad died Callum and Jade would return if Neighbours was the real world. which accounts for that part - Jade to help Sonia through. Do Neighbours powers that be do misdirection?

Alice must be very strong to be able to shove Willow into the shed like that without Willow fighting back

I thought that, Curbside I really don't want Sonia to die - it seems too flat and besides I like her rather fey character.

Paul mentioned to Jane that they "had all the time in the world..." dramatic irony perhaps? I do hope that something happens to remover her from the scene - she is sooo irritating!

Four new couples-Gary/Amy, Bea/Ned, Terese/Leo and Paul/Jane? Unless Paul ends up sleeping with Terese as he is comforting her after her break-up with Leo, she gets pregnant and that is why Jane leaves? Although apparently she gets back with Leo shortly after they break up, so she’d probably discover her pregnancy while back with him, and that would “shake them to the core” as the words were about the cheating scandal 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Lovewineandchocs I suppose it could be them. Would give an explanation to Jane leaving. I feel like the whole Paul and Terese thing has been done though. She did after all cheat whilst with Gary.

Don't know whether this has been discussed but the actor who played Ben (Carl's grandson), went to the US to star in a sitcom inspired by One Directions Harry Styles time in the US. He plays a British popstar:

@Hellomatey001 I saw an episode of it. Wasn't my cuppa tea though. I didn't know it was inspired by Harry Styles.
It could be possible that the actor filmed the scenes before he left or he could possibly return if as you've said the show is cancelled

He’s been on a few big talk shows out there so I don’t imagine he’d be coming back as he’s had a lot of exposure for a newbie.

I can see Terese getting pregnant. But could Elly fall in love with Chloe but get pregnant with Mark’s baby? Just another one to the mix.

Also agree that the comment from Paul seemed like it must be doomed now. It was a really odd thing for him to say.
