I'm really over these storylines at the moment, Sonya and Toadie storyline had me tuning in every day and now it's like meh, I'm not bothered about pigs heads or if Paul lives with Terese or even if Chloe is putting company for cash back up.

It looks as if Pierce is going to have two kids, a boy and a girl.

Eh? Wasn’t he resoundingly single? Are they older kids from a previous relationship or is he going to turn up with newborn boy/girl twins. Surely if he was happy to rent Chloe’s company by the hour he’d rent a womb if he wanted kids? Is he a secret Robinson? Is the new character played by Jason Donovan’s daughter going to be his child?

Don’t know why I’m asking all these questions. I couldn’t give a crap about Piers!

Omg can they not have one family where the parents and children don’t have any interest in the same lovers? Surely it’s a rare thing, not something that occurs in 80% of the houses in one street!?!

Apparently Elly tells Shaun that he's the baby daddy. Not sure why she'd do this when she wants to pass the baby off as Mark's

@SleepingStandingUp It makes no sense whatsoever, telling him and then asking him not to say anything. We all know how that one turns out.

People are speculating that Shaun sets fire to the evidence and that Finn's ex wife is the one that tries to run Susan, Bea and Imogen over

Yes I think Elly telling Shaun has got to be the most idiotic move ever. I’m convinced now that Elly ends up leaving with Shaun. Mark’s bound to find out eventually and she’ll have no home, marriage or job. Probably no friends either, and as far as I know Shaun’s only a guest character so it would make sense for them to leave together. Mark suspects Finn’s ex wife of the hit and run-she is coming back but I’m not sure if she was the one who did it, given Mark’s crack policing skills Shaun would be the obvious choice for who started the fire as he’s the only one who wants Finn to get off, but I’m not sure it will be him.

Others are speculating that hit and run person is Finn's mum but I really don't see that happening since she's left and doesn't particularly like him.
There's a video clip on insta re the fire starter, some are suggesting it's a female and could be Imogen but what is she gonna gain from that?
If it's not Shaun I don't know who it could be.

As for Elly leaving with Shaun I think you could be right... she's lobbed her hair off (the actress) and it's unusual for actor/actress to change their appearance, unless it ties in with the character 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ignoring Neighbours fancy in shark jumping, I can't see Elly leaving with her one night stand to live happy ever after with the brother in law who tried to kill her. But if she keeps the baby and is leaving perhaps back to her Mom's?

But do we know if Elly tells Shaun after Mark finds out she’s lied?

@MiddleClassProblem it sounds like it's before as she tells him not to say anything. Unless Mark finds out the baby isn't his but doesn't know who the baby daddy is. I wonder if he finds out through Leo

I reckon Shaun is going to blackmail Elly into changing her testimony about Finn, threatening to tell Mark if she doesn’t. Mark doesn’t find out for a while anyway, the scene where Elly uses Caitlin’s scan picture won’t be shown until around the end of May.

There's a clip on insta where Elly tells Leo it's not Mark's then the clip cuts to Mark saying to Elly "is there something you need to tell me" (or at least to that effect) Wonder if Leo tells him the truth

starburst8 no he doesn’t, apparently he nearly lets it slip but doesn’t. I’m not sure what the “Is there something you need to tell me?” refers to, but it’s not that. Probably pure promo fodder Like I say, the earliest Mark will find out is the middle to end of May. If Jodi Anasta has left, as per rumour, then Mark finding out then would tie in with a potential Elly departure onscreen in June.

How did Elly and Shaun not know who each other were? Elly and Finn dated before they arrived.

starburst8 maybe it is something to do with the pregnancy or whatever Leo let slip. Quite possibly after whatever Leo says, Mark says that to Elly about if there’s anything she wants to tell him, but that is definitely not the point at which she tells him about the baby being Shaun’s, if you know what I mean. The lie goes much further, involving hospital doctors and fake scan pictures. I’m guessing Leo will tell someone like Chloe and Chloe will tell Mark. My guess about that bit in the promo is that Mark tells Elly he wants to recommit to making their marriage work, she hesitates and he says “Anything you want to tell me?”. Just a guess though 🤷‍♀️

@Lovewineandchocs that makes sense. I've seen that she does something with Caitlin's scan picture so I thought it's a bit odd if he found out so soon.

Possibly. I think I’d rather take my chances with Finn than Liz! Finn is sticking around though, and Shaun is leaving, so I thought it probably isn’t coincidence if he and Elly both leave around the same time. Perhaps not happily ever after, but more like a Sky/Dylan situation maybe? Or like Steph moving to be near Dan and co-parent Adam.

Elly and Finn dated before they arrived. thry were already estranged by then though.

Is there a reason why Leo is so invested in Elly's pregnancy and whether she tells Mark the truth? In the Aussie soaps there always seems to be a character who is inexplicably involved in other people's secrets
