I’m not sure I like the idea although it would be a crossover for 2 of the 4 incestuous groups... (Chloe, Mark, Elly - Amy, Gary, Kyle - Bea, Elly, Finn - Leo, Terese, Paul - there are probably more groups...)

It all seems like filler compared to Sonya's storyline and now that she's leaving a lot sooner than we all thought, it's gonna seem a lot like to fill the time in between.

That’s what I thought but I’m not sure now. Sonya tells Shane that Andrea recounted meeting a strange man in Hobart who mistook her for someone else who looks just like her. That’s the strongest evidence I’ve seen that they are two separate people, but again there could be some twist to it.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Alice warped her mind into thinking she's Andrea... maybe that was a fan theory? Either way I'm not having it.

starburst8 that’s a fan theory, that the real Andrea died/left, Alice found an confused and injured Dee washed up on shore and warped her mind, Willow would have been 2 then so Alice made Dee think she was her mother. It’s been around for a while, but I don’t think they are the same person.

That was my theory, although I'm sure I'm not the only one that came up with it. I don't want it to be true, just based on how messed up that would be for Dee. I'd like realDee to still be alive though. I've never quite forgiven them for killing her off in the first place!

starburst8 yeah it’s very odd indeed. If they are two separate people, how did Andrea know about the truth or dare kiss. Maybe the person she met is the man on the bench with “Dee” and he mentioned the truth or dare to Andrea to jog her memory as to a conversation he once had with Dee. Aaaggghhh! It’s so confusing!!! All I know is Eve Morley described the resolution to the story as “really sick” and says Toadie is in for a whole lot more pain and she’s glad she won’t be around for it 🤷‍♀️

My theory is that Andrea is Dee but because the doctors were told she's not they've reinforced the validity of the Andrea personality, leading to her suppressing her real self again.

Not sure what to make of the mystery man... When Heather asked her about it did she sound like she wanted her to tell Toadie? Maybe she doesn't want Toadie to know about the man because that would be the unravelling of her story & lead to Dee becoming herself again.

agnu she said something about the person she met at the Salamanca markets being her trump card and said “When the time is right you tell Toadie, this could change everything.”

But if real Dee is alive out there somewhere, she'd have to have amnesia, or she'd have come back ages ago. I don't think Andrea is real Dee. Hope not anyway.

Dee could've come back & seen Toadie with someone else & not wanted to mess his life up by reappearing.

We def discussed that theory way back when but the spanner of Williows bio dad was thrown in so that dispelled it.

I really hope when all is revealed we aren't sat shouting at the tv in disappointment.
I must admit it's gonna be hard not to cos when they brought "fake Dee" in before she was revealed to be Andrea, I was proper annoyed by it all.
