X FACTOR- It's the FINAL weekend! We have survived! Sat /Sun 7.30pm *******SPOILERS*********

(I don't usually worry about spoilers , but sometimes we get people getting sniffy over the Final thread). )
So- you've been warned.

Here's hoping the Winner's single won't be something from the Greatest Showman- which this entire series has been a big advert for. We do usually know what the Winner's song is by now though.

In a bit of a twist, it would appear Simon doesn't think the acts can carry a Winner's single by themselves, so this is who they have been teamed up with
Dalton- performing with James Arthur, Scarlett is with Leona Lewis, and Anthony is with Ricky Wilson (minus his Kaiser Chiefs).
They will all get to perform their song, which doesn't usually happen, usually only 2 go through to Sunday.

The traditional Duets are still happening-

Scarlett has the dubious honour of singing 'Angels' with Knobbie
Dalton has been paired up with Emili Sande for the crime against grammar that is 'Beneath your beautiful', and Anthony is performing 'Leave the Light on ' with Tom Walker- and is not, surprisingly, singing with his bestie Louis.

It is December 1st, I will have mulled wine and mince pies.

The winner singles are odd choices.

Crazy how quickly they've done it. Guess wanted it over and done with.. And yet carrying on to next year. Surely at some point they've gotta think nahhhhh.

Destiny confusingly, they are keeping all the acts in until tomorrow, when usually they get rid of one on the Saturday night. At least that's how I read it.

I actually think that Dalton has the best act of the 3- in terms of fan base/being more 'current' James Arthur is a much better bet than Ricky or Leona (sorry Leona).
Though there's the Directioners voting for Anthony to contend with -
even if they don't know who Ricky is (i wonder if he will be wearing a waist coat?)

Oh -wow! I am watching a Christmas music channel as I am , yes, putting up the tree. So shoot me. I always do it the first weekend of December. And they are playing that Matt Terry song that Ed Sheeran wrote. You can really tell it's an Ed song.

His one and only album was 29 in the charts... And his 2nd single 51.woops!

Lets I was just thinking that this series has been definitely lacking a proper novelty act.

I mean, I can't take TTT seriously, I'm afraid, but he's not funny.

I've just read that Matt's debut album was the worst performing in X Factor history.
Calling it 'Trouble' was never going to end well

However , Louisa Johnson didn't even release an album iirc and 'parted ways with Syco' was dropped this July, a month after Matt.

Never mind , the winner could always do a song with clean bandit!

Hello all, thanks for thread Raahh! I've been away for what seems like weeks and come back from holiday with conjunctivitis and a cough... not good!

I'd love to know what fresh horrors you lot have been put through over the last 2 Saturdays, but as I can't even work out who's gone it might not mean a lot to me. Is there just 3 left? In which case why stretch it over 2 nights? More torture for us that's for sure.
