Anybody else watching the first episode of series 3?
Interesting one, I grew up next to a family of witnesses, so I'm aware of some of their beliefs.
I didn't realise they were so strict and also require disconnection or disfellowshipped.
Am always intrigued by the inner workings and peoples stories behind the public face of a group.

What channel was this on?

It was on Crime & Investigation last night at 7pm-should be on catch up! Part of their twisted faith week
Series 3 starts the 27th I think.

No worries! Found the first two series fascinating-I just don't understand why people believe L Ron's alien stories! Paul Haggis said it best when he got to level 8 and was given the secret story.....'what the fuck?'

That was very good, it's scary really what goes on in this religions, did you watch Scientology Going Clear op, it's a brilliant documentary.

Yes, I've seen Going Clear! And Louis Theroux's documentary too! Very interesting! I truly do not understand what persuades anyone to sign their lives over to these cults!

I watched the first one. Also had read a book from some woman whose family were in the cult. Very interesting and completely stupid things went on!!

I’ve watched this and Louis Theroux etc it’s been a real eye opener! I actually have recently had Scientology flyer dropped into our office and home, I can see how people get pulled in as I was reading one of them and it all seemed very logical! Then I read the back and realised it was Scientology so chucked it in the bin

Series 3 started last night on American tv but I can't find when its going to be aired on british tv. Very frustrating! Am sure I''ll see it advertised soon!

I've been looking too Taigh, its not in my scheduled programmes either and I thought it was, hopefully it's soon.

Carrie, honestly haven't looked on youtube, but I'm sure the first series is on there!!

Just realised series three has been on crime and investigation channel but have missed the first few episodes, have managed to find episodes 5, 6 and 7, flipping raging I've missed it, so much for skys scheduled programmes to be recorded once they start again.
