I'm really enjoying that they all get on, why would anyone want to see them being nasty to have other?

You said it wasn't as good as previous years or as good for viewers when they all got on. I understood that as you preferred the years with arguments.

I definitely think they the trials are taking over most of the shows atm.
Perhaps because there is not much going on as far as relationships and tension in camp?
They did not always do trials and tasks over 3 segments.

This quest is very ambitious by the looks of things!

Honeyroar I know what i said, but not getting on and “being nasty” aren’t the same thing. I’m thinking of previous camp mates like Kim Woodburn, Gillian McKeith, David Gest, David Van Day......to name but a few. I found them all entertaining, or are you saying i shouldn’t have my own opinion. I’ll say what i want.

I agree you can have drama without it being nasty.

Does anyone else think Anne’s drink looked suspiciously thin.

Everyone else’s was thick and disgusting and hers looked like coke with dirt in it.

drink=im guessing if she has sensory issues it may of been a deffo no go which as much as im vocal about Annes no trials i can understand if they did that

to be fair i havent and would gag at the thought of them drinks

Last night was the first time I thought a trial was possibly faked. Those drinks just didn't seem what they said they were, particularly Anne's. I wondered if they were soft drinks/milkshakes with some of the gruesome items mixed in. But it's all good to watch.

I like arguments on the show. Makes it real. Real relationships have conflict and power struggles and I like to see how people manage it.

I think the tasks are that traumatic this year that the priority is about surviving and helping each other through it. No time to relax and argue.

People on twitter saying Anne's drink looked like coke with whatever mixed in as it had bubbles in it.
Could they really get away with faking it? Surely if people vote for people to do the trials then they wouldn't be allowed to fake it? Although that one the public didn't vote for them they all just did it.

I tell you what was really odd though how they wanted Fleur to go on the trek but Nick made a thing that it was important Fleur stayed as if she was really needed to stay back and was the strongest camp mate.
From what has been shown yes she is strong and will do tasks but no more than say John or Noel

Yeah I think you could be right there! I suspect there are more conversations with the production team than there used to be.

i also remember many times on eating/drinking triials lots were really gagging and nearly being sick,not on these ones

Slightly late to this thread. I don't care what she's like in real life I am besotted with Holly Willoughby. Never heard of her before this and wasn't impressed with the first episode but she's fabulous. I usually get bored after the first week but will probably keep watching just for HW.

Did anyone else watch Noel in that rally car series. He came over as quite a nice guy, very, very competitive though and nauseatingly lovey dovey with his wife.

Sunshineonleaf….yes we watched that rally programme and I thought he came across as very patronising. Saying that his wife "drove almost as well as a man" even though he was loveydovey towards her. HW is trying her best but it is not the same .

I gave up watching the rally programme as all the cars broke down and they didn't seem to have spare cars (you'd have thought they would in if they were making a tv prog).
I think Noel is trying to be funny when he says outrageous things. Doesn't work, I can't warm to him at all.
But I adore HW and prefer her to Ant. I think Dec has settled down a bit as Holly has got into her stride. He was a bit OTT at first.
