Now, I used to love Big band, and it's not unusual to use 'modern' songs with a big band twist. But it has to work- I said last week, Rhyd doing Shirley Bassey's version of 'Get the Party started' - that worked.

I fail to see how 'Say Something' is going to work with a big band. It's a really hard song, and even Christina, with lungs the size of a Zeppelin, sometimes sounds lost in the mix. Brenda will just vanish with a Big Band.

I'm cross TTT is doing 'Beyond the Sea' one of my favourites- Will Young on Pop Idol did a great version.

I think A and A- still without a proper mentor - have been hung out to dry. The original song is a cop out- no-one has bothered to find a decent song that suits their style.

And bloody 'Listen' - Beyonce. Again. Really?

Watching this on delay so a bit behind but I think I must be hearing something different to everyone else - they all sound DREADFUL to me! Scarlett was ok but the rest sound out of tune.

Shan has a thin little voice and really shouldn’t attempt all the yodelling.

Currently listening to Bella droning the verse and honking the chorus. Just a din.

Missed it because of the rugby. Caught half of it on +1 so I missed Scarlett, Shan, Tony and Brenda. Why have they stopped doing the recap at the end? If I didn't know it was big band week I wouldn't have been able to tell.

I've watched the ones I missed on YouTube now. I thought Tony and Scarlett were the best. I find Brenda really hard to listen to but I heard Nile telling him he loved him after he sang!
