Greys Anatomy - anyone want to fill me in on about the last year?!

I used to love this programme but gave up on it about 18 months ago as Meredith drove me mad!
I’ve decided to start with this series, think it’s 15 but I missed all of last series! When I last watched Meredith was seeing some doctor, April and Jackson were maybe maybe not together, Alex had attacked another doctor and faced going to jail. Him and Jo were probably breaking up but that’s ok as she was annoying too!!
I think I’m way out of touch, can someone quickly summarise for me please what’s happened?!!

Season 14 is on Sky and Amazon. Watch it! It's a great season.

Alex and jo got married. Charges were dropped or he was found not guilty....can’t remember. He was in court but it was all ok.
Fairly sure Meredith was still single at end of season 14.
April married the guy she jilted at the alter from ages ago.

Season 14 is on Now TV but due to expire in a few days... you can sign up for a 14 day free trial if you don't already have it but you'll have to binge watch over the weekend!

I've just caught up too and thought it was much better than the past couple of seasons.

To be honest I do t have the time to binge watch as have 4 kids and a husband away!! Just wanted to start watching from this season.

Are Alex and Jo still in it then? He had gone off to work at some private hospital the last time I watched too.
I see Jackson is with Meredith's step sister, don’t really see them as a couple, how did that happen?!!

Meredith was seeing the doctor... Nathan Briggs... he was Owens friend from the army? Was dating his sister when she went missing on duty. Then Owens sister was miraculously found years later just as he and Meredith had gotten together but it was all very "don't worry about it" and then he went to go live with her and the child she had adopted whilst she had been kidnapped. So then she was single for most of season 14. I don't really remember how far back to go/I have gone as they all turn into one giant story I struggle to split them up into different seasons! But that's how they ended and Meredith had some single time.

Jackson and Maggies relationship is a bit weird. She fancied him for ages and then they were a little weirded out because technically their parents are married to each other but then they got over it. It's early days and has been a slow mover.

That’s was him Sister! Owens sister was found alive?! Is Owen still in it, I like him?
Hadn’t thought about that but yes their parents are married so aren’t they step brother and sister then?!! I find she’s a bit annoying!

Did Owen and McDreamy’s sister get married/have children in the end? Can’t rememver if they fought about getting married or having children, seems to happen a lot with Owen!

Owen is still in it. Him and Amelia got divorced but now are kind of back together raising an adopted baby, but the teenager birth mom is living with them too as she’s a drug addict and amelia wanted to help
Last series Owen thought he wanted to get back with teddy so went to Germany to see her for a couple of days. Now she’s pregnant with Owens baby but Owen and Amelia Don’t know, she cane back to tell him then saw he was back with Amelia so didn’t give him the news. But Maggie knows and seems like she’s going to blurt it out any minute

Alex and jo are still in it, just got married at the end of last series. Jo’s abusive previous husband turned up and ended up getting killed off so she was free to finally get married to Alex. They were going to leave for Boston, but deciddd against it and now Alex is the interim chief of surgery and jo is doing some innovation research thing at grey Sloan

Gawd Teddy, forgot he was even with her!! Oh dear, that’s not going to mess him up much is it?!! Poor Owen has had the most messed up personal life!!
Glad Alex is still in it, rather like watching him!!

Love Alex but I found Jo pretty annoying too!
Agree about Maggie, she just needs to be quiet some times!!

Arizona left to go and live near Callie in New York. And Amelia has a brain tumour. I can’t think of anything else major that hasn’t already been mentioned.

I don’t like Jackson and Maggie together either. I wanted him and April to work out. Just remembered - April had a crisis of faith during series 14 and went off the rails, drinking and sleeping around.

Amelia has a brain tumour? And her brother would have been perfect to help!
Can’t imagine April going off the rails!! I wanted her and Jackson to work too, did she take their baby with her wherever she’s gone?

Crikey, no it doesn't sound like you do! Hope the kids are on their best behaviour for you!

Seems like most of the big stuff has been mentioned.

Meredith won a Harper Avery award for an abdomen transplant. Harper Avery died and Jackson got $250bn inheritance, bought a yacht, then had to give the rest away to loads of women who Harper had abused.

Miranda's husband Ben left to become a firefighter.

Miranda’s husband was very lovely to look at too, will miss seeing him around!
I always thought Meredith and Alex shoukd get together.

Apparently it worked very well and the recovery time is mere weeks before you can pick up an 8 year old and swing him round in the air!

Amelia's brain tumour was removed. Supposedly it was causing all her risky behaviour. I think. Jo & Alex were supposed to get married but got locked in ashed so April & the ambulance man got married instead. Jo & Alex then got married on the ferry by Meredith (did I dream all this?).
And series 14 is on Amazon free if you have Prime.

I think they just kissed. They are flirting a lot in season 15. I think he's hot!
