I'm watching and am well and truly Gripped.

The opening five minutes was so gruesome and hideous I switched over. Can't stand torture scenes.

Shades of Dexter, innit

The episodes that are on tonight and tomorrow were a pilot on itv encore a few years ago

It has apparently been on before, on itv encore in 2016 but only this weeks. I’m quite enjoying it though and good that they are just two parters

The cps person he talked to does anyone know the actresses name? I'm SURE she was in eastenders in 80's/90's but can't remember characters name and IMDb for dark heart cast list incomplete. VERY grateful for any help on this its driving me nuts!!

Just watched tonights, the acting was awful!

Thank you! I thought it might be Carmel but when I tried googling "eastenders Carmel" got bonnie Langford? (I don't watch eastenders now) so I thought I must've got it wrong!

It was Carmel Jackson/Roberts a heath visitor, 1986-1989, I vaguely remember her.

The sound quality was very poor imo- not sure if it was a technical issue or mumbling actors but we kept turning up the volume.

Didn't think the plot was great- guessed the outcome about 10 mins into the 2nd episode when he went to see the retired cop .

The woman and child who lived with him- is that his sister or his ex?

Switched off after 1st five minutes. Might try again.

Pretty poor. Didn't like the main characters and totally implausible outcome. Didn't like the camera style either. Not for me!

Just discovered this on ITV player. Looks like my kind of thing. On the first episode so far but I'm struggling with the fact that the male lead looks and sounds a bit like Jack Whitehall if I'm not paying full attention which ruins the darkness of it all a little bit!

Watched both episodes. Pretty sure he killed his parents for calling him William Wagstaffe and having to endure years of taunting and being called Willy Wagger at school.

Can just imagine it as a MN thread in Baby Names 😂
