Yep...Sydney to Adelaide on the India Pacific first, then up to Alice Springs on The Ghan.

It was absolutely awesome - woke up at 6am in our cabin to half a dozen red kangaroos leaping alongside the train as the sun rose.

Going back to do it again via Perth and continuing up to Darwin is #2 on my bucket list!
