Did anyone see the first episode this week? It was Thurs, 9pm, More4.
Aside from the dodgy American accents that he & Rhys Ifans are demonstrating, it's started well. He's a CIA agent sent to Berlin to find the mole.
I can report that he's kissed someone already and it was as good as Mr Thornton in North & South (sighs)

I have a thriller gap in my tv viewing having just finished Jack Ryan.
I had high hopes for this, not least because of RA but it was so dull I nearly gave up. Will try one more episode as it did pick up a bit at the end.

yes, I'm watching! I didn't think it was too bad but I'd already read mixed reviews of it so my expectations were probably quite low anyway . And the twist right at the end of ep 1 has kept me interested enough to watch further, so will see how it goes.

It really is worth sticking with . It improves as the series goes on (and I got used to RA with an american accent). Season 2 is really good as well. Season 3 has been commisioned.

I gave up during episode one as well.
I'm a hug RA fan but it bored me and I found his and Rhys Ifans' American accents were very disconcerting. Just sounded wrong.

I've just watched the first two episodes, loving it so far. I'm watching with subtitles to make it easier to follow! Bit annoyed I have to wait for the next one though, it's the sort of thing I'd normally binge watch in a few days.

I caught up on ep2 today. I'm still sticking with it to see where it goes, though not a lot seemed to happen in this one. I wasn't quite sure why the guy who declared undying love for RI then went back to his original country - was he kidnapped back, or did he give himself up for some reason?

Has this been on before? Imdb says it's from 2016 but this is the first I've seen of it.

It was out in the US first.

I'm on to episode 3. I've totally lost track of the plot but just enjoying looking at RA looking freaking gorgeous in every scene he's in

I hate the title sequence, it's so jerky and choppy I have to look away or it hurts my eyes. Not like the lovely title sequence in Strike, for instance.

Must have been a hit in the USA as they are now on the third series there.
