I feel sorry for Katya TBH - she's has risked a lot for a flirtation and it has rebounded on her. Apparently she and Neil had an open relationship - but that doesn't mean that he wants to be publicly humiliated! And we don't know what Snean told her about his relationship with his GF ("We hardly speak these days - just live under the same roof for convenience - been over between us for ages etc etc etc" There are a lot of men like that about)

He doesn't seem bothered - it's knocked all the joy out of her. I hope any sex was worth it.

Charles is so good looking Isn't dance meant to have passion element and that's why I like Charles and now Kate's dancing. Ashley and Faye have no sex appeal in their dancing at all. I can see the pound signs in their eyes.

I know I’m a hypocrite but I feel much more forgiving towards Katya, even though she was the married one. Plus she is such a good choreographer, that doll routine was inspired.

I feel entirely differently about The Other One, can’t root for someone I don’t like, and the minute he did that ‘apology’ number on ITT it was game over for me.

But setting all that aside, in terms of his dancing ability I think he got as far as he deserved.

I thought Zoe meant the slow mo move not the floor move! It was very awkward

It’s a shame about Katya because her choreography is amazing, but Seann’s lack of timing and shoddy footwork, week after week, just ruined anything that could’ve been good.

I love Katya. She’s had a hideous three weeks and I can’t help but feel for her. The media have really made the most of it and the comments on her social media have been disgusting. I hope she and Neil can just move on now.

I do, too fleas. I get the impression that she regarded it as rather more than a knee-trembler behind the bike sheds - perhaps she even thought in terms of a relationship. But I think that he has regarded her as a notch on the bedpost.

Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if Katya and Sean are together.

I'm a bit behind but I definitely remember props week - maybe a chair, cane or umbrella. Now you often can't see the dance for the props. Too much faffing abaaht, as Len would say. What's wrong with just dancing a proper dance for the whole of the 90 seconds, or however long it is? Call me old fashioned

Yeah I remember props week. Now props seem to turn up whenever the mood takes the pro/choreographer.

I also remember before the dance off as well. It worked like the final, they add the judges together with the phone in votes and the bottom one went.
I’m might be mis- remembering but I think they didn’t have the Sunday show and it was all Shown on Saturday. No idea how long ago that was.

I feel a teeny bit sorry for Katya, in that this will follow her round forever. Sean(n) will turn this into a funny anecdote for his stand up and move on.

Biggest sympathy for Neil, obviously. Hope he can move on.

Seann looked unusually smart on ITT today. They looked very couply.

I seem to Redeemer the dance off started the series with Alesha but then disappeared a few series after before coming back again.

You're right crayons - and the show was all the better for it.

Proper dancing, some really interesting stuff about training and about how the costumes were chosen for both the dance and the dancer, two different dances each week so you could compare like with like and a completely different ethos.

The good old days . . .

My impression is that they started with a dance-off, then they tried it without for a couple of years but no-one really liked it, so they went back to a dance-off. But to be fair I didn't see the first series so I have no idea what they did back then.
