Big Bang Theory Season 12

I couldn't see a thread on this so thought I'd start one!

Who else is enjoying Season 12 and gutted that it's the last one?

I'm really loving it so far. Sheldon's lost a lot of his hot-ness since mid season 11 unfortunately though.

I think/hope there'll be a Shamy baby/babies this season!

I like that they have ramped up the Shamy sex life, and yes I hope for a shamy baby, but I’d like to see a Leonard and penny one first.

I also really hope Raj finds someone and loves happily ever after, and I strongly suspect that will happen as they can’t finish the series without everyone having a happy ending.

I can't see the shelf on hotness.

I agree on the baby front but I can't see Leonard and penny with one, don't know why. Would like to see shamy have one to end the series.

I missed a few from the last couple of seasons, I thought Bernadette & Howard had 2 kids but now she is pregnant- is this their third?

Also, might just be me but I thought the acting seemed a bit forced and out of place this season, more so on the first episode can't really put my finger on why but didn't seem such an easy watch.

Bernadette and Howard have just got the two kids, but I know the actress who plays Bernadette has recently had a baby so she may have been pregnant during some of the filming

Penny to get a big acting break.

Sheldon to win the Nobel prize!! Or as a twist Leonard to win one first 

Raj to find true love (with the girl arranged by the dad I think)

Amy and Sheldon to have a baby.

There was a massive spoiler about Amy and Sheldon at the end of the last series of little Sheldon.

Stopped watching after season six. It lost so much. Can’t abide the Amy character. She was good in the very beginning being very much like Shelton’s character but changed . It jumped the shark for sure

I think Sheldon is good looking although slightly less so this series. I also find him quite cute although I know in real life he would drive me mad.

I don't find this series so good but then I didn't find most of series 11 that good either. Could not understand why Bridget had to have another baby or spend so much time in bed. That, for me, just became silly and boring.

I am quite pleased that Penny has said she doesn't want children as in so many shows couples do get married and then have children. Really would not be surprised though if the writers cop out and at the end she is pregnant

Bernadette being on bed rest probably had a lot to do with the fact she was actually pregnant in real life and had previously suffered a miscarriage. I’m guessing it allowed her to cut down her work load and not be in too many scenes.

The series is not as good as it used to be but I will still be watching it to the end, I’m quite glad Stuart has finally been allowed a girlfriend.

The actor who plays Sheldon seems to have aged a lot in recent years. Although he was mid thirties at the beginning he still had a very cute boyish look but he's put on weight and definitely aged. He's only 45 though in real life!

They should've just made raj gay instead of all the joking around it.

Penny seems to tolerate Leonard rather than love him.

I am not really that bothered that it is the last series. It has lost its spark. I will watch it to the end though.

I wonder whether the cast will find it easy to move onto other roles or if their careers will go in the same direction as the Friends cast's careers went when the show ended?

I saw the Howard actor in a film recently. Jim Parsons does loads of stuff, not least the Young Sheldon voiceover, but also plays.

I've not seen the others in anything else. Leonard should really have been Frodo!

Isn't Leonard is the new Roseanna series?
And anyway don't they get paid like $1m per episode? Don't think they'll be in any rush to find more work.

Yep Leonard is going to be in The Connors.

I believe the original 5 actors get $1m per episode but Bernadette and Amy get £600k each per episode.

Howard is a stand up comedian and musician.
Penny, Leonard and Amy have been acting since they were kids.
Chuck lorre seems to like using the same actors in his stuff.
Leonard was in the original Roseanne as her daughter's boyfriend. Daughter played by Leslie Winkle. And Sheldon mum was Roseanne's sister.

Although I love Big Bang I am glad that it's finishing properly and won't just tail off after another 5 seasons.

I wonder they'll all move out of the apartment block at the end and that's when the lift will finally be fixed?!
