No, I'm pretty sure that at the end of the last televised series, Alice saved John (and they walked off together?).

As long as we don't have anything as scary as the man under the bed/in the loft I will watch it. It took me month to get over that one and I wouldn't exactly call myself a wuss.

Some of the episodes were really disturbing weren't they?

After bedgate and loftgate I slept with the light on for weeks. The return of Luther is bittersweet for me as a dear friend was a huge Idris fan and she died almost two years ago. She would have been so excited that it was returning!

That trailer doesn't show Aiice but there's another onen I've seen fo r the new series that does (with her with shorter hair).

I love Luther and think it is brilliant. It can be really scary though. I so agree about the man under the bed/in the loft.

For quite a while after watching I actually looked under the bed every night before I would get in it.

Series 4 is very short (as far as I can tell from iPlayer only two episodes?) and shows Luther dealing with the athermath of Alice's supposed death....

I never watched Luther before - have just started with series 1. It's all ahead of me!!

Luther is the reason we have a shit load of stuff under out beds so nobody can fit under

diddl, I'm assuming she's not dead (I think it was her that took Luther's 'burner' phone at the beginning of series 4 episode 1. Hoping series 5 has more than two episodes though.

Interestingly, I'd remembered series 4 as showing Alice return (clearly wishful thinking).

And I'd also thought his relationship with Mary was more longlived than it actually turned out to be...

I love Luther's clothes and particularly the tweed coat!

Christ I'll never forget the 'under the bed' episode... I was watching it on my own as DH was out! I was shitting it until he got home. We bloody love Luther 😍 He is my DH's man crush, he covets the coat 😂 We can't wait until series 5!
