She's in the audience on BBC2 - Adrian Chiles show but both her, Katie and the chubby chap with glasses from week 1 were missing from the final.

why

Because they were dull.

The two finalists were allowed to pick 4 people each. So 2 x 4 + 2 finalists = 10, there were actually therefore 6 of the originals missing, so we must have forgotten already who on earth the that we didn't spot in the audience were!

how sad am i been trying to think of the missing ones - ifty (the one who missed his son) and geri (the bigger woman) - who was the other one??? bugging me to hell

Just cheated and went on the apprentice website. It was Dr Sophie Kain the nuclear physicist (or some other such brain boggling proffession) but I think I did see her in the audience.

She didn't pull any stings fish, therefore she went...gurgle gurgle, down the plughole.

I don't think that the final two got to choose the eight, just from the eight IYSWIM. I think that they volunteered, and some of them didn't want to do it.

Oh, forgot about those two! Maybe the ones in the earlier weeks couldn't be arsed to continue for the benefit of the finalists. Oh yes, and Sophie Nuclear wotsit.
