Managed to watch it live today thanks to the joy that is Half term! Even Mr Clowdy, who is lying on the settee underneath a fleecy throw (lazy bugger- he's coughing occasionally when he remembers) managed to diagnose tourettes.
No doubt Izzy will come to live with Daniel and cause chaos in Letherbridge. Nice juxtaposition of crap, spitty dad with caring absent Daniel dad.

When Ryan the oldest looking teenager in Letherbridge said the kids at school made fun of him it made me think of that old joke -

-Mom, I don’t want to go to school today, the kids all laugh at me!
-Don’t be silly Ryan, you’ve got to go, you’re the headmaster.

FFS I've got subtitles as dp and ds are so loud. How come Daniel has to sort out Izzies school when he only remembers her about 3 times a year ?

Tourette's was so bloody obvious. It was like a Public Information Film. ("Charlie says don't worry if you've got a vocal tic, it's just Tourette's")

What role is ruhma butchering in The Archers?

According to the BBC website, Rhuma is playing Geraldine. I only ever catch snippets of the omnibus edition so don't know if she is just as punchable on the radio.

I'm just catching up, I really want to watch Bake Off but dd1 is at football training and I have to wait for her before I watch it.

Geraldine is Elizabeth's assistant at Lower Loxley but I've never heard her speak. Maybe she will pipe up when Freddy is disgraced further inside somehow.

I think there's more to Ruhma living in hope that it's terminal as it's even more of a non-story than usual.
