I've just watched episode 1. Impeccable credentials - same guy who wrote True Detective series 1, great cast - Emma Stone & incredibly skinny Jonah Hill, but seriously confusing! Confused I actually found The OA easier to comprehend! Did anyone make head or tail of it?

Grin glad it's not just me then! I'll force myself to keep going a bit more then. The episode lengths seem to vary a bit, which is unusual. Nice to see Jessa from Girls in something.

I just said this to my OH! Watched the first two episodes and I have no idea what's going on, dunno whether to persevere or give up...

I found it fell really flat. The concept is great, and the cast, but it was very shallow and wasn't executed well. I really don't get how it's been so hyped!

I enjoyed it but I think that’s just because I gave up trying to understand it. It does make a bit more sense by the end and I found it quite moving.

Ok - I will definitely keep going! I'm far too lazy with things these days when I'm not automatically engrossed from the get-go or things require a bit more brain-work on my part. The cast is excellent as well.
I really enjoyed the OA too, especially the ending when things clicked together. Series 2 isn't too far off I think.

I found the first episode willfully weird & it reminds me so much of Legion, which ploughed a similar furrow. I’m not going to watch more, but DH will probably stick with it because he loved Legion (Sky) so much.

I watched 3 episodes and gave up. Disappointing. I liked some of the ideas like the ad buddy etc but the actual storyline was just too odd for me.
