I have fallen completely in love with this show. I love Steve. I would trust Steve to fix all my problems, he is so calm and lovely. They are all so calm and lovely. And so skilled at what they do.
I've just watched one where they fixed up a toy lamb and I nearly cried.
Please tell me someone else watches it.

I love that programme! They are so clever with their hands and I love watching them make items look like new. Did you see the fire truck? It was gorgeous when it was finished!

I love it.

I love it too. They are all so amazingly skilled and I love the reactions when the owners see their items again, they aren't the only ones crying Blush

I too love Steve. I sense a chemistry between him and Kirsten!

We recently went to the outdoor museum place where it was filmed and took a photo next to the barn. They were filming at the time and we chatted to a volunteer who was making something for them in the blacksmiths shop.

I love it too!

Only recently discovered it, so I'm catching up on BBC player. All the repairers are just so nice. Wish I had skills like them!

I love it! Only thing is, I can't stand jay. He's totally pointless on it.

Knitjob · 30/09/2018 22:52

I'm not sure what the point of Jay is either. Does he have any particular skill? He's not even all that necessary as a presenter I don't think.

I think Steve's sister is one of the other people on the show. The woman who does the leather maybe?

Yes Jay and his ridiculous (spotlessly clean) leather apron drives DH into a blasphemous rage!

Yes. I love this show too. Its a nice and happy proper genuine show for once. I am always in awe of people who can repair and make lovely old things look great again. And its great to see all the owners of the items, who look so happy and overwhelmed at their repaired and treasured items. A feelgood programme to be sure.
