There was a great thread where the poster's phone went completely bonkers. Posting the same thing over and over. People coming on saying "Sorry, could you say that again?" The OP was hilarious, had a great turn of phrase. I was crying with laughter. I think it's in Classics.

Talking of posting inappropriately, I once got two texts in quick succession, one from one person telling me they had passed their driving test after numerous fails, and the other telling me their relative had died. I sent the following responses:

"That's fantastic news! Told you you could do it, so proud you had the courage to keep going until you managed it! Nothing holding you back now!"

and

"Oh no, that's terrible - so sorry to hear this. Really hoped it wouldn't happen so soon."

You can guess who received each text. Fortunately both were very understanding.
